Das kleine Haus ist eine Vision von Ös-terreich. Es ist ein Papier gewordenerTraum eines kleinen Kindes. Dabei istes nicht einmal ein Familienhaus, son-dern viel mehr ein Asylwerberheim.Die Vorstellung von Österreich war an-ders als die Realität. Das Land ent-spricht nicht der Österreichwerbungund ist auch nicht wie es in Sound ofMusic versprochen war.

The small house is a vision of Austria.It is a dream turned paper of a smallchild. It is not even a family homethough, but rather a home for asylumseekers. The reality of Austria dif-fers from what we had imagined. Thecountry does not measure up to theimage portrayed by the Austrian Na-tional Tourist Office, nor does it fulfillthe promise of Sound of Music.
