Franz Grieshofer, Imagination of the Hereafter by an Apparently Dead Woman
This contribution describes an engraving from 1848 recently acquired by the AustrianMuseum of Folk Life and Folk Art. The hereafter is described in the words of a womanfrom Kitzeck, Hochsausal region, Styria, who was seemingly dead. The picture isinteresting for its clear spatial differentiation.
