The Online Sammlung Plus lets you browse the digitized holdings of the Volkskundemuseum Wien and compile a personal selection of objects, archival materials, and publications according to your interests.

Collect

Browse the Online Sammlung Plus. A red star appears to the right beneath each thumbnail. Click it to activate the bookmarking function: the star turns gray and the selected object, publication, or archival item is added to your personal collection. All saved items can be accessed in the header under ‘My Collection’.

Share

The IDs of the selected objects, publications, or archival items are stored as part of the URL in your browser’s address bar. If you remove one or more items from ‘My Collection’, their IDs are also removed from the URL. Sharing your selection is simple: open ‘My Collection’ in the header, copy the link from the address bar, and send it via email, messenger, or social media to friends and colleagues.
