Er posiert mit einer Waffe und einer Jacke um die Schultern. Interessant ist, dass der Fotograf Josef L\u00f6wy f\u00fcr seinen Druck auf der R\u00fcckseite ein \u00e4hnliches Format gew\u00e4hlt hat wie der Fotograf Julius Leth. Beide nutzen die gleichen Medaillen auf der R\u00fcckseite, die Medaille zur Weltausstellung in Paris 1867 und eine Medaille mit dem Portr\u00e4t von Napoleon III.
