Der Ort befindet sich heute in Italien, bis zum 1. Weltkrieg war es \u00f6sterreichisches Gebiet. Der Sattel wird auf der Karte f\u00e4lschlicherweise Mannhartgruppe betitelt.\rDie Aufnahme stammt von Alois Beer. Ob er auch der Fotograf war, ist heute schwer festzustellen, da er auch Negativplatten anderer Fotografen kaufte und diese unter eigenen Namen weiternutzte. Diese Aufnahme spiegelt jedoch den Handel mit Motiven in der fr\u00fchen Zeit der Fotografie wieder und zeigt, dass sich solche Szenen gut verkauften und gleicherma\u00dfen Reisende wie Sammler und Sammlerinnen ansprach. Es zeigt auch, dass ein Motiv mit unterschiedlichen Formaten produziert wurde.
