Die Objekte standen zur Zeit der Aufnahme im Museum in Bad Reichenhall. Der genannte Artikel in der \u00d6sterreichischen Zeitschrift f\u00fcr Volkskunde ist nicht auffindbar. \r\rAn einer anderen Stelle der \u00d6sterreichischen Zeitschrift f\u00fcr Volkskunde (1904, S. 107) beschreibt Robert Eder aus M\u00f6dling jedoch folgendes: \r\"Im Reichenhaller Museum befinden sich zwei Johannesh\u00e4upter aus Joohannesh\u00fcgel stammend, welche seinerzeit in der Kirche aufbewahrt wurden und dazu dienten, den mit Kopfschmerz Behafteten auf den Kopf gesetzt zu werden, und galten diese Johannesh\u00e4upter als heilkr\u00e4ftig.
