Die Inschrift \"Ex voto\" (lat., aufgrund eines Gel\u00f6bnisses) bedeutet, dass das Votivbild mit der Bitte um Hilfe oder aus Dankbarkeit f\u00fcr einen erf\u00fcllten Wunsch geopfert wurde. Diese Votivtafel mit der Darstellung eines menschlichen Augenpaares wurde stellvertretend f\u00fcr das pers\u00f6nliche Anliegen in einer Tiroler Wallfahrtskirche gestiftet.
